Department Organization and Resources

The department is overseen by three elected Fire Commissioners.  The Fire Chief reports to the commissioners and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department.  There are three fire stations within the district, each equiped with an Engine and a Water Tender.  Station 1 has an additional Ambulance, station 2 has an additional Squad and station 3 has an additional Brush rig.  Our Firefighters respond to the stations when notified of an emergency through their radio pagers.  The department currently has approximately 20 volunteers on staff.
